Here at Shipshape and The Secret Garden we’re not only puppy-friendly, we border on dog-centric– they often get the best seat in the house! So, when Jayne visited Bali and discovered the Bali Bandana Project, it was a perfect fit to keep our fur babies looking fabulous and support a cause close to our hearts.
The Bali Bandana Project is a passion project turned life-changing movement where 25% of proceeds (from the sale of bandanas and other products) go towards sterlising and vaccinating stray dogs and cats of Bali.
For many reasons, these animals often have a tough start to life, as strays or dumped in public places. The Bali Bandana Project works with local vets and animal adoption agencies to give these beautiful creatures a paw-up towards finding their forever homes. Sterilisation helps reduce the unnecessary overpopulation of animals who can’t be taken care of, and vaccination keeps them happy and healthy.
You’ll see the love theme throughout the bandana collection- “because there are many dogs and cats in Bali that are not loved and we want to change that.” (Bali Bandana Project Team)
You can get your very own bandana from Shipshape instore now. Sizes are available for dogs small, medium and large, and for cats too!
