Travelling to Bali is a wonderful experience – the people, the culture, the food, the chaos inspires me. On this trip we based ourselves in Seminyak for 18 days, it rained for about an hour in the whole 18 days!! The rest of the time the days were hot and the nights balmy – what a treat.
It’s hard work though, days are long and tiring foraging amongst an endless collection of outstanding makers and their wares. But it’s always a thrill to find the perfect item, by the end of the trip I had found literally thousands of ‘perfect’ items.
In another few weeks we will have more excitement as the container arrives and we open it. Our friends in Bali are busy sorting and packing right now!
