It’s full steam ahead at Shipshape and The Secret Garden as we head into labour weekend 2016. There’s been some changes afoot with the addition of another container that now doubles as exhibition space. This weekend we have two local artists – Shane Walker, painter and Andrew Killick, potter (laughing pottery). Shane is well known at Waihi Beach and more recently for his amazing murals on some of our buildings, the latest being the exisiting container at Shipshape – check it out below!
THE SECRET GARDEN
Is open from 8am to 4pm Saturday/Sunday/Monday. The Pod will be serving coffee, superfood smoothies, fresh salads, rolls and a few sweet treats with Sheryl from The huia tree at the helm.
There is live music on Saturday morning from locals – Paper Road.
SHIPSHAPE
Is open from 9am to 5pm Saturday/Sunday and 9am to 4pm on Monday. We are stocked up on all new seasons clothing from Kowtow, Elk, Nyne, Just Another Fisherman, Standard Issue, Coop, Ariele Mermin, Mesop and more…
